The present invention discloses use of Bifidobacterium animalis subsp.lactis in promoting efficacy exertion of a Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma extract in alleviating liver injuries. According to the present invention, Bifidobacterium animalis subsp.lactis CCFM1274 may grow in a fermentation base rich in a Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma extract, and a fermentation broth of the Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma extract fermented with this strain can increase the content of active substances such as aglycone flavonoids and short-chain fatty acids, promote the efficacy exertion of the Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma extract, including improving the ability of the Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma extract to alleviate a non-alcoholic liver injury, and reduce the fat accumulation in liver cells. This strain and the Ginseng Radix Et Rhizoma extract may be used to prepare a product for promoting the efficacy of alleviating the non-alcoholic liver injury.
