Abstract

An electronic module for controlling a motor includes a module housing having a bottom surface located along a plane, a plurality of walls; a printed circuit board (PCB) mounted within the module housing substantially parallel to the bottom surface; and power terminals formed at least partially within the module housing and coupled to the PCB. Each power terminal comprises a first portion that is molded into the bottom surface and extends outside the module housing along the plane through of one of the plurality of walls for electric coupling to a power wire extending from the motor, and a second portion that extends substantially perpendicularly to the plane out of the bottom surface and into the module housing and is received into an opening of the PCB for electric coupling to the PCB.
