Abstract
A light emitting device (LED) comprises a substrate, an anode layer disposed on the substrate, a hole injection layer disposed on the anode layer, a hole transport layer disposed on the hole injection layer, an emitting layer disposed on the hole transport layer, an electron transport layer disposed on the emitting layer, and a cathode layer disposed on the electron transport layer. At least one of the anode layer and the cathode layer is transparent. The emitting layer comprises a mixture of luminescent nanoparticles and an insulating material.
