1,4-Dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarboxylic acid ester derivatives shown by the formula ##STR1## wherein R represents a lower alkyl group and R' represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group or an aralkyl group, and the therapeutically non-toxic salts thereof. These compounds possess a vasodilative activity and an antihypertensive activity.
