Abstract
The invention relates to heart stimulation apparatus. It is possible to stimulate the heart in one of the atria or one of the ventricles and the invention concerns implantation of two electrodes (which may both be in the same location) and the provision of means for changing over the operative electrode either automatically or at will. The invention is applicable to the stimulation of hearts which do not otherwise operate with a steady beat.
