In order to dye and print cellulose fibres, which have been swollen with water-miscible swelling agents, or fibre mixtures containing such cellulose fibres, the fibres are treated with a dyestuff of the general formula ##STR1## wherein A denotes an optionally substituted anthraquinone radical, which can contain a further fused ring, X denotes oxygen or sulphur, Z denotes a mononuclear or binuclear aryl radical and n denotes 1 or 2, and the dyestuff is fixed by means of a heat treatment.
