Abstract
There is disclosed a process and apparatus for the recovery of heat from exhaust or waste gases having a temperature of from about 500.degree. to about 2500.degree. F. generated in a process operation cycling between an operational mode and in idling mode utilizing an intermediate heat transfer fluid to recover heat and to use all or a portion of such recovered heat, inter alia, in such process operation.
