Cycloartenol ferulate/cyclodextrin complex is prepared by including cycloartenol ferulate, which is a component of .gamma.-oryzanol and hardly soluble in water, with cyclodextrin to thereby elevate its solubility in water and improve its absorption through digestive tracts.
