Silicone rubber catheters possessing improved surface morphology, at least the surface of the catheter to be inserted in the body having bonded thereto the reaction product of a composition comprising: (1) at least one crosslinkable polysiloxane; (2) an innocuous lubricating agent; and (3) a crosslinking agent Preferably, the lubricating agent is a medical grade lubricating oil.
