Abstract
Described are compositions suitable for rendering masonry and other surfaces water repellent. Such compositions comprise the reaction product of a linear polysiloxane containing at least one percent of alkyl hydrogen siloxy groups and a C.sub.7 -C.sub.30 alkenyl succinic anhydride. The reaction product may be diluted with an inert liquid diluent such as water or mineral spirits. The composition may be applied to masonry or other structural surfaces by techniques known in the art.
