Abstract
A synthetic lubricating oil composition which is suitable for lubrication of mechanical super charger, which composition comprises (A) a diester of an aliphatic dibasic acid having 4 to 14 carbon atoms and an alcohol having 4 to 14 carbon atoms, or a mixture thereof, of which viscosity at 100.degree. C. is 2-7 mm.sup.2 /s; and (B) a polyoxyalkylene glycol ether or a polyoxyalkylene glycol ester having 2 to 5 carbon atoms in its alkylene group, or a mixture thereof, of which viscosity at 100.degree. C. is not less than 30 mm.sup.2 /s; and which composition may further comprise (C) an .alpha.-olefin oligomer having a kinematic viscosity at 100.degree. C. of 3-6 mm.sup.2 /s.
