Abstract
An apparatus for cleaning a surface of a blanket cylinder of a printing press containing having foreign matter thereon including a brush unit with a rotatable brush roller that is selectively moveable into and out of engagement with the surface to be cleaned. The brush unit includes a flicker bar which is moveable in timed relation to movement of the brush unit between an inoperative position removed from the brush and an operative position engaging the brush roller to effect removal of foreign matter carried by the brush roller.
