Abstract

A silver halide color light-sensitive material containing a coupler represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, same or different, each represent a group capable of substituting a benzene ring; Y represents a halogen atom, an alkoxy group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, an alkylthio group, an aryloxy group, an alkylsulfonyl group, an arylthio group, or a carbamoyl group; X represents an organic residue necessary to form a substituted or unsubstituted 5- or 6-membered nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring together with the nitrogen atom; l represents 0 or an integer of from 1 to 5; and m represents 0 or an integer of from 1 to 4. The coupler of formula (I) is excellent in dye image stability.
