A high-speed transmission electrical connector assembly consists of the first and second connectors. The first connector includes a first housing (1); a plurality of first contact elements (12) arranged in rows and columns in the first housing; and a plurality of first shield terminals (14) each disposed between a pair of first contact elements and aligned in rows.
