Abstract

Compounds having the formula ##STR1## wherein R is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 lower alkoxy; C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 lower alkylthio; 3- to 6-membered heterocycle or substituted heterocycle; phenyl or substituted phenyl; R.sub.1 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 lower alkyl; R.sub.2 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 lower alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 cycloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 lower alkylalkoxy or combinations thereof; R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen; C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 lower alkyl; C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 lower alkenyl; C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 lower alkenyl; 3-to 6-membered heterocycle or substituted heterocycle; alkyl heterocycle or substituted alkyl heterocycle; phenyl or substituted phenyl; and where R.sub.3 or R.sub.4 is a basic heterocycle, herbicidally acceptable organic or inorganic salts thereof are herbicidally active.
