Abstract
An elastic nonwoven web of microfibers of radiation crosslinked ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymers. The web has an elongation to break of at least 400 percent and generally is comprised of meltblown microfibers. The ethylene/alpha olefin is preferably an ethylene/1-octene copolymer having a density less than 0.9 g/cm.sup.3 and a melting point of less than 100.degree. C.
