Abstract
A test strip supply apparatus comprises a cylindrical container having an elongate test strip fitting penetration slot formed in its side wall, a container support having a semicylindrical concave surface formed in its upper portion and a test strip take-out hole formed at the center of the concave surface for allowing a test strip dropped from the penetration slot of the container to pass therethrough, and a test strip transfer stage for receiving the test strip dropped from the penetration slot and transferring it. A test strip reversing function is also provided such that during the transfer of the test strip by the transfer stage, optical means determines whether the test strip is placed facing properly or not and, if the back surface is on the upper side, the test strip is reversed upside down before further transfer.
