Abstract
An oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic composition is provided including a fragrance and a vehicle system noninterfering with the fragrance scent and including water, oil, a thickener and a dialkyl diester of melting point 35.degree.-45.degree. C. The diester is preferably di-C.sub.12 -C.sub.15 alkyl fumarate.
