Abstract
The present invention provides a process for reducing foam in an aqueous alkyl polyglycoside composition comprising adding an effective amount of an ethylene oxide-propylene oxide copolymer of the formula II R.sup.1 [(EO).sub.b (PO).sub.c (EO).sub.d (PO).sub.f ].sub.p(II) wherein R.sup.1 is an ethylenepolyamino group of the formula ##STR1## and wherein each of b and f is 0 or a number having a value of at least 1, and each of c and d is a number having a value of at least 1, with the proviso that when f is 0, b is at least 1 and when b is 0, f is at least 1; p is an integer from 2 to 5; and k is an integer from 0 to 3 and EO is --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O -- and PO is --CH.sub.2 CH(CH.sub.3)--O--.
