Abstract
A rotary slide valve (10) controls compressed air, nitrogen and oxygen streams independently from each other. The rotary slide valve (10) consists of a housing (15) with pairs of diametrically opposed radial bores and a valve body (11) with recesses (35, 37). The valve body (11) is coupled to a rotary drive R. According to its position, the valve body (11) opens and closes compressed air inlets, compressed air outlets or nitrogen outlets and controls the streams of compressed air and nitrogen. In addition, the rotary slide valve controls several streams of oxygen through several axial oxygen inlets (49, 51) and outlets (53, 55) which may be interconnected through an axial recess of the valve body (11). The rotary slide valve (10) is used in particular in air oxygen-enriching installations.
