Abstract
An air ejection system usable with a pressure vessel for a pumping segment for fluid flow and for incorporation into a fluid delivery system. The air ejection system includes a vane positioned directly in the fluid flow path to redirect flow into the pressure vessel to wash out air bubbles that may accumulate there. In one aspect, the vane is shaped to provide a redirected flow to wash the entire internal area of the pressure vessel. In another aspect, the vane is shaped so that when the pressure vessel is loaded by a pressure sensor, the redirected flow path has a uniform cross-sectional area throughout its entire length.
