A device for climbing and supporting a person above the ground, on trees, poles, or other vertical structures of limited diameter, using two climbing frame members. Each frame member having two, spaced and parallel, side elements. Each side element having an inclined proximal end, and a substantially horizontal distal end. Each frame member having an assembly mated to the inclined ends for engaging the side of the tree opposite the user, and an abutment for engaging the user's side of the tree, creating a pincer grip of the tree. The first frame member having a seat to support the body of the user; and the second frame member having a platform to support the feet of the user.
