Abstract
The polymer material is a mixture, consisting substantially of: oligourethanemethacrylate having the following structural formula: ##STR1## methylcarbitol methacrylate ##STR2## methacrylic acid ##STR3## and 2,2'-dimethoxy-2-phenylacetophenone ##STR4## taken in ratio that ensure the ability of the mixture to light curing under the effect of UV radiation. The intraocular lens comprises an optic and a supporting portion, both made substantially of the mentioned polymer material.
