A bioimbedding material comprising a mixture of ultrafine hydroxyapatite powder having a particle size of 2 .mu.m or less, and a polymer or oligomer, which can function as a tissue substitute for a long time in a living organism, without causing inflammation, which has flexibility and elasticity, which has an excellent biocompatibility and contrast, and which does not require a contrast line, and a process for producing the same.
