Abstract
A centrifugal pump comprises an impeller (2a and 2b) which is rototable about an axis (X--X) inside a static volute (1). The pump is further provided with a sealing arrangement (11). The sealing arrangement (11) reduces or substantially eliminates the clearance between the surface of the suction side of the impeller (2a) and the static volute (1). The sealing arrangement is axially adjustable.
