Abstract
A Notes-based graphic user interface displays information relating to a database user and also connects to the user's world wide web home page. To that end, the GUI includes a display view having indicia related to the user, and a plurality of tabs adjacent to the display view for changing the indicia in the display view. Among the indicia in the display view is text identifying the user's world wide web home page address. Clicking on the world wide web address causes the computer to directly connect to the user's home page.
