Abstract
One embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for configuring a computer-based system having a processor with an input/output ('I/O') bus. The method comprises accessing computer instructions from a configuration card via the I/O bus and enabling the computer based system to be operational using accessed computer instructions. The method may further comprise the act of configuring the computer based system using accessed computer instructions, wherein the act of configuring comprises defining access parameters for at least one user of the computer based system.
