Abstract
A class of .OMEGA.-substituted-1,4-benzoquinon-2-yl]alkanoic acids are useful in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The preferred compound for the method of treatment is 7-(3,5,6-trimethyl-1,4-benzoquinon-2-yl)-7-phenylheptanoic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, ester or pro-drug thereof.
