Abstract
A sealing element (2) consisting of elastic material is adapted to be molded into for example a concrete pipe socket. In order to improve the binding between the sealing element and the material of the concrete pipe socket the sealing element is at least partially provided with fiber flock (14) at the surface portion which at the molding is adapted to be enclosed by the concrete material of the socket.
