Abstract
The present invention is directed to substituted spiro-azacyclic derivatives of the formula (I): ##STR1## (wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.9, R.sup.10, X, Y, p and q are defined herein) which are tachykinin antagonists and are useful, for example, in the treatment or prevention of pain, inflammation, migraine, emesis and postherpetic neuralgia.
