Abstract
A detergent composition with a softening and protective action of natural fibers, wherein the composition has no cationic surface-active agents, and contains: (a) surface-active agents selected from the group including anionic, nonionic and amphoteric surface-active agents and relative mixtures; (b) esters having the formula (I): R.sup.1 --CO--O--(--CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --O--).sub.a --R.sup.2 (I) wherein: a is between zero and 20; R.sup.2 is a mono-functional hydrocarbon radical, having from 6 to 20 carbon atoms; R.sup.1 is a mono-functional hydrocarbon radical defined in the claims.
