Abstract
Apparatus and process for coating a continuously advancing web with a dry or wet coating material on a conveyor belt. The apparatus having a hopper which contains an agitator, a brush and a knurled roll to accurately dispense the coating material to an applicator which is positioned on a carousel. By rotating the carousel, the coating in the form of stripes, bars or a uniform layer can be varied at angles 0.degree. to 90.degree. on the continuously advancing web.
