Abstract

In a combined-type connector, two connector housings 21 and 22 are connected together in such a manner that opposed connecting surfaces 21aand 22a of the two connector housings are held against each other, and a plurality of partition walls 24 are formed on the upper connector housing 21, and separate terminal storage chambers 23, each receiving a terminal 26, from one another, and a plurality of partition walls 33 are formed on the lower connector housing 22 so as to be opposed to the partition walls 24, respectively. In a connecting position of the two connector housings 21 and 22, distal end surfaces of the partition walls 24 are substantially abutted respectively against distal end surfaces of the partition walls 33. The lower connector housing 22 is slidable relative to the upper connector housing 21 in a direction of extending of the partition walls 24 and 33, and when the lower connector housing is slid, the partition walls 33 slide respectively over the partition walls 24, so that the two connector housings 21 and 22 are located in the connecting position.
