Abstract
A composition for topical aerosol application contains, by weight, a) about 20 to 90% of an active mixture in the form of a solution, gel or lotion with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide as active ingredient, and optionally, a polymeric thickening agent for a gel or lotion, and b) about 10 to 80% of a propellant system which includes dimethyl ether. The composition has a temperature in the range of 3 to 25.degree. C. when dispensed.
