Abstract
A flame-retarded resin composition contains: (A) an ABS resin; (B) an aromatic phosphate having a melting point of 80.degree. C. or more and being represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 are, the same or different, a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, excluding the case where R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 are all hydrogen atoms; X is a bond, --CH.sub.2 --, --C(CH.sub.3).sub.2 --, --S--, --SO.sub.2 --, --O--, --CO-- or --N.dbd.N--; n is an integer of 0 or 1; and m is an integer of 0 to 5; and (C) a novolak-type phenolic resin.
