Abstract
Novel apparatus for treating a disorder of a biological tissue in a mammal by stimulating the biological tissue with light having selected optical parameters. The apparatus has a power source, a central microprocessor with stored optical parameter protocols and wireless probes to receive the protocols and to generate and transmit the light. The invention also relates to a method for stimulating healing of a disorder of a biological tissue in a mammal by stimulating the biological tissue with light having selected optical parameters.
