Abstract
The device comprises a plurality of lengthwise cutting tools (25; 25B), a transverse trimmer (100) and, downstream of said lengthwise cutting tools, at least two separate paths (PA, PB) for the strips cut from the weblike material. An auxiliary lengthwise cutting tool (51) is provided to generate, on the occasion of a job change, an auxiliary lengthwise cut in a transition zone (J0) to join central cutting lines of two successive jobs.
