Abstract
The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for surface treatment to polish and wash with high accuracy the inner surface of a member having complicated internal configuration. A magnet 23 is arranged on outer side of a member 1, which is made of a nonmagnetic material and for which surface treatment is to be performed on inner surface. Magnetic grains and abrasive grains in slurry state are supplied to inner surface of the member. At least one of the member 1 and the magnet 23 is rotated and are relatively moved in axial direction at the same time.
