Abstract
The invention concerns concentrates of ursolic acid or its salts and oleanoic acid, wherein (i) ursolic acid and oleanoic acid or its salts are present in an total amount for the two of more than 22 wt %, preferably 30 to 65 wt % (ii) sugar residues are present in an amount of less than 40 wt %, preferably less than 25 wt %, in particular in an amount of 1 to 10 wt % (iii) while ursolic acid and oleanoic acid or its salts are present in a weight ratio of more than 3.6, preferably 4.0 to 6.0 (iv) the balance being other materials, including glycerides and/or triterpenes other than ursolic acid and oleanoic acid and a method to make these concentrates.
