Abstract
A shoe for a hoofed animal, e.g. a horseshoe, is described which comprises a body made from a thermoplastic composition which comprises a matrix of a thermoplastic material which has a softening point of less than 100.degree. C., such as a polycaprolactone. A method of shoeing a hoofed animal, such as a horse, is also described.
