Abstract
An impedance network configuration in the form of a snake-like or ladder structure is provided. The ladder configuration enables the provision of tabs extending outwardly from the normal conducting path, the tabs providing a location for the provision of contact layers. Using such a configuration the contribution of the contact impedance can be minimized and also programming of the configuration may be effected.
