Abstract
An image display device and a projector using th image display device includes a tilt-mirror device having a plurality of movable mirror elements. A first color-ray light-source may be arranged so that a first color-ray light is reflected in a predetermined direction when the movable mirror elements are located in the first reflective position, and is reflected in a direction different from the predetemined directon when the movable miror elements are located in the second reflection position. A second color-ray light-source may be arranged so that a second color-ray light is reflected in the predetemined direction when the mobable mirror elements are located in the second reflection position, and is reflected in a direction different from the predetermined direction when the movable mirror elements are located in the first reflection position.
