Abstract
A dispersible composition that comprises a polymer compound, a functional substance such as a colorant, and a solvent or a dispersion medium, where the polymer compound is comprised of a monomer unit represented by the general formula (1) ##STR00001## wherein A is a straight-chain or branched alkylene group of 1 to 15 carbon atoms with or without substitution; m is an integer of 0 to 30, and when m is 2 or more, A is the same or different each other; B is a single bond or an alkylene with or without substitution; D is a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic ring structure; n is an integer of 1 to 10, and when n is 2 or more, D is the same or different with each other. The composition is usable as an ink composition or toner composition.
