Abstract
. The ball is held against the edge of the ball track and propelled around the ball track by air jets and, after a predetermined time, the air jets are turned off and the ball spirals down the slope into a pocket on the contra-rotating wheel. The process can then be repeated with the directions reversed, kept the same or randomly varied.
