Abstract
Lancet device utilizing a body, a holding member configured to receive a lancet having the lancet needle, a first spring structured and arranged to move the holding member between at least a retracted position and an extended position, and a second spring structured and arranged to move the holding member between at least an intermediate position and the retracted position. The first spring is at least one of smaller in diameter than the second spring and compressible by expansion of the second spring.
