Abstract
The invention is directed to a method for designing a modeled object within a session of CAD system interacting with a database. The method comprises:
- detecting a designing operation performed by a user and applied to an initial modeled object within the session;computing a signature from a set of properties of the initial modeled object and/or a set of properties of the session;retrieving in the database modeled objects having the closest signatures to the signature of the initial modeled object within the session;displaying representations of modeled objects retrieved;selecting by the user a modeled object among the representations of modeled objects displayed; andreplacing the initial modeled object within the session by the modeled object selected.
