Abstract
A loom, containing a first and second fill yarn-holding conveyor rods which are disposed at left and right sides of an opening formed by multiple side-by-side warp yarns that run in one direction at a prescribed speed and are repeatedly inserted into the opening toward center of a weaving width and withdrawn, a single fill yarn conveyor selectively gripped by the ends of the first or second fill yarn-holding conveyor rod, a first and second rod operating units which cause the first and the second fill yarn-holding conveyor rods to be inserted into the opening in a synchronized state and to be withdrawn from the opening, and a first and second fill yarn conveyor gripping and releasing units which are fixed to opposite ends of the first and the second fill yarn-holding conveyor rods and alternately repeat operations of gripping, releasing, and delivering the fill yarn conveyor.
