Abstract
In one aspect of the invention, a drainage and filtering system for a washing machine comprises an outer barrel, and a filtering apparatus, where a groove is defined at the bottom of the outer barrel, the bottom of the groove is provided with a drainage port, the filtering apparatus is mounted in the groove and covers the upper part of the drainage port, the filtering apparatus is provided with at least one filtering passage leading to the drainage port, and a foreign material stop structure is arranged in the filtering passage.
