When using an empty filter bag, said vacuum cleaning apparatus has a quality factor Q^s_un of more than 7, preferably more than 8, especially preferably more than 9 Q^S_un=(P^saug_un/P^ei_un)×ψ, where P^saug_un is the suction power of the vacuum cleaning apparatus with an empty filter bag according to EN 60312, with orifice diameter 8, P^ei_un is the input power of the motor/fan unit of the vacuum cleaning apparatus with an empty filter bag according to EN 60312, with orifice diameter 8, and ψ is the filtration efficiency of the filter bag material), and/or when using a partly filled filter bag, the vacuum cleaning apparatus has a quality factor Q^S_teil of more than 4, preferably more than 5, especially preferably more than 6 (Q^S_teil=(P^saug_teil/P^ei_teil)×ψ, where P^saug_teil is the suction power of the vacuum cleaning apparatus with a partly filled filter bag according to EN 60312 with orifice diameter 8 after collecting 400 g of DMT8 test dust, and P^ei_teil is the input power of the motor/fan unit of the vacuum cleaning apparatus with a partly filled filter bag according to EN 60312 with orifice diameter 8 after collecting 400 g of DMT8 test dust, and ψ is the filtration efficiency of the filter bag material).
