Abstract
In order to provide a home gateway apparatus capable of smoothly executing transfer processing while ensuring security, when transferring a packet between a node (102) and an external network (101), the home gateway apparatus (100) rewrites a first address to a second address, the first address being in EUI-64 format for use as a transmission source address by the node at the time of transmission (S206); and upon receiving a packet having the second address as a destination address from the external network, rewrites the destination address of the received packet to the first address (S207).
